Common questions

Using your journal

How do I get started?

Tap Add a drain and choose a recognizable label. Use Log output to record an amount in milliliters, the date and time, and an optional note. Each drain has its own totals and history.

What does “last 24 hours” mean?

It is a rolling window ending now, rather than a calendar-day total. The seven-day charts group entries by local calendar day. Totals include only what you recorded; a day without entries is not confirmed zero output.

Can I correct an entry?

Open History, find the entry, and tap Edit. Check the amount and date before saving. If a drain was marked removed by mistake, return it to active tracking from Removed drains before adding more output.

How do I save or share a report?

Open Summary and choose Download PDF report or Export data (.csv). In the iPhone share sheet, choose Save to Files or another destination. Sharing is manual; Still does not automatically send records to your clinician or connect to Epic.

What happens when my medical team removes a drain?

Edit the drain and choose Mark as removed by medical team. Its label and history remain in the journal until you delete them. Still does not decide whether a drain is ready to be removed.

Can I restore a deleted drain?

Open Deleted drains to restore a drain and its entries within 30 days of deletion. Expired records are removed when you open or use the app. Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Previously exported reports and earlier backups are unaffected.

Where is my journal stored?

Journal records are stored locally on your device. There is no Still cloud account or automatic journal sync. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Removing the app, device loss, or clearing its data may erase the journal, so keep exported copies of records you need.

Why is my browser journal missing from the iPhone app?

The browser prototype and the iPhone app use separate storage. Entries from the browser do not automatically transfer to the iPhone app. Keep your exported reports before changing how you use Still.

What should I include in a support email?

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, your iPhone model, and the iOS and Still versions if known. Please leave out patient names, drain notes, medical records, and screenshots containing health information. For medical concerns, contact your care team.
